The Suns had planned to start Jarlin Garcia for Game 2 of the series against Montgomery but plans changed on Sunday morning. The 23-year-old left-hander was called up from Jacksonville to the Major Leagues with the Miami Marlins. In his spot, the Suns called upon reliever Chris Mazza, who turned in five scoreless innings in his first career start. Jacksonville went on to win 4-2 in Game 2 of the series.
