Family is a powerful thing. Yet Spangar and Danny have always had a relationship that stretches beyond family because they are also two best friends. This has allowed them to evolve and grow together as people. They have seen the best of each other and the worst and that is delivered in this podcast: how they rarely agree and yet always agree, their combative tastes, their inside jokes, their crazy family, and, of course, how they came to love literature. This is a reflective podcast on how two boys that hated literature grew into two men that need literature in their lives. It is a reflection of growing and expanding ideas as a small hope involved in a podcast helped them to elevate their abilities outside of the podcast and has helped expand their minds. There are also plenty of hilarious stories, the trials of the podcast, and what they loved about recording together. Follow as Danny and Spangar tell the story about coming to love literature, how their ideas helped The Broken Shelf grown, and then why Spangar almost came to hate reading again because of the podcast. It's a flowing story of change and how two literary cousins pushed each other to be better, but also had an overwhelmingly fun time talking about books. Aren't the simple things sometimes the best. Come say your goodbyes, as Spangar and Danny say goodbye to their time on The Broken Shelf.
