Episode 76 – Genesis Part 16, Supper’s Ready
The Palaver goes in slightly different direction considering a single song. Supper’s Ready is obviously a very important (dare I say critical) piece of music in the Genesis catalog. It is a complex composition and has a relatively wide array of performances / interpretations. We dive deep into the various sections, discuss the way different bands present this work and consider the ridiculous question of which version is the defining one.
