Episode 98 – Pink Floyd Part 20, The Wall, The Live Shows
Seeking to expand our segment on Pink Floyd a bit, the group considers the live performances of The Wall including the 1980 tour, the 1990 performance in Berlin and the 2010 Roger Waters production. Each of these productions has its own character and charm. We consider the various interpretations of the songs, the impacts of the cultural context and musicians as well as the stage and light design. We come away with a better understanding of how each of these performances enhance the legacy of this epic piece of work.
