Hey ya’ll hey!
Thanks for tuning into Episode 37 of Tellemtiptoldyou—"A Day of Service.”
Today, in honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s holiday 2020, I’m dedicating this episode to what I think it means to be in service to others and to ourselves. I spend some time talking about Tyler Perry’s “work ethic” and how it may be perceived to be selling his audience short. I also talk about the Lukumí belief about human’s purpose on earth: to bring about the good condition. Finally, I end with a challenge to reconsider what we mean when we say “a day of service.” This episode was an introspective one for me, so tell me what you think.
I look forward to your reviews on this episode and invite you to email me about your thoughts!
