These old hands are
getting wrinkled and bent
but these old hands
they were heaven sent
I guess they’ve gone about a million miles
I guess they’ve done about a thousand trials
These old hands
they shake alot
but these old hands got
everything I ever got
I never blamed them for nothing
not even if they pulled the trigger or not
They give pleasure they give pain
I had them when I fell into this game
I’ve had it all in the palm of my hands
these old hands are
both soft and hard
and these old hands
can still play this old guitar
