D Whit a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana was raised as a devout Jehovah’s Witness, unable to celebrate his birthday, Thanksgiving or Christmas. Even though as a child the entertainment industry was not encouraged as a career choice, he always knew that he would one day make a mark as a recording artist. He is known and respected for his earlier work as a choreographer touring and performing with platinum artist JOE, Britney Spears, Destiny’s Child and Usher to name a few. He’s sung background for the artist JOE and Kevon Edmonds (Babyface’s brother). D Whit’s recent release “Steppin” reached the AC Weekly Southern Soul Chart at #9. Embarking on his first promotional tour in spring 2016, he is releasing a new single called “No Side Piece”. Deejays and fans get ready for the knockout round with D Whit.
