Maurice337 hails from Carencro, Louisiana where a mixture of heritages exists. Maurice337's middle name is Maurice and his musical Gumbo is comprised of Southern Soul with a taste of R&B, Blues, Country, and Zydeco. His musical journey started in high school where he performed various cover tracks from popular R&B artists at the time. Maurice joined the military and continued singing and rapping while serving and got the opportunity to open up for artists like Keith Sweat, Jodeci, Ice Cube, Hi-Five, and others. In the early 2000s, Maurice started working with artist/producer Roi 'Chip" Anthony and MoHitz but had to step away from music to focus on other things for a while. In 2024 Maurice decided it was now or never to get back in the studio and start recording again. All it took was a text to Roi Anthony and MR. SPONSOR YOU journey now continues.
