Miss Portia, born in Baton Rouge, LA. has been singing with her parents since she could speak. She has sang backup for a few bands but her proudest moment was being discovered by Mr. Tyree Neal and added to “The So So Jazzy Band." Portia’s vocals can be heard on many of the latest circulating blues singles and albums of artist such as Tucka, Adrian Bagger, Big Pokey Bear, Lacee Groove, all of the Ross Music Group associated artist, and of course Mr. Tyree Neal.
Miss Portia's first southern soul charting came in April 2015 with the "My Sidepiece Reply" and again in December of 2016 as part of the Ross Music Group aggregation singing "Zydeco Blues & Trail Ride (ZBT Anthem)".
Her latest single “It's Gone Cost You (To Ride This Pony)" kicks off this repetitive, in-your-face dance chant by a young lady whose sheer "want-to" grows and transforms in power before your very eyes.
