Looking to up her game, Ms. Brown Suga reached out to Soul 1st Records after recording a song co-written and produced by former Soul 1st artist, Omar Cunningham, called, “Cheat Right.” Cheat Right is a song most women can relate to in today’s world with iPhones, credit card alerts, GPSs, and social media. I wanted to have fun with it and took the track to Omar, who wrote the lyrics and arranged the song.” Ms. Brown Suga said. “I needed an established record label to get me to the next level and expand my exposure to new fans in new markets,” and it’s been great working with Reggie McDaniel, my homeboy from Henry County. “Cheat Right was just released to radio and is gaining strong airplay out the gate on radio stations from Texas to Alabama.
