Slow Money Bolo hails from Tallahassee, Florida. He discovered his love for music at around 10 years old. With a brother who was a legendary break dancer, Slow Money wanted to carve out his own identity, so he turned to music. His passion for Southern Soul music blossomed after meeting Mel Waiters. He draws inspiration from a variety of artists, including Barry White, Bobby Womack, Prince, Run DMC, Eight Ball & MJG, 2 Live Crew, Sir Charles, and Bobby Blue Bland. Throughout his career, Slow Money Bolo has collaborated with notable artists such as Colt Ford, Bloodraw, Itz Karma, Shawnna, and Jamie Ray. He has toured extensively across the South, from Florida to Texas, and has opened for artists like Kutt Klose, Prince Rahiem, 95 South, Tom G, Splack Pack, Uncle Daddy, Jam Pony Express, P2K, and Ms. Brown Sugar.

In 2025, Slow Money began touring with 803 Fresh, performing shows in Georgia, Alabama, and both North and South Carolina. Additionally, he has appeared on television series such as TV One's "Fatal Attractions" and Oxygen's "Snapped: Killer Couples," with a song he wrote dedicated to his brother being featured in one of the episodes. His first single, "Nasty Man," has gained over 100,000 views on TikTok and reached number one on the Urban Influencers Southern Soul charts, among others. Now, Slow Money is set to take the world by storm with his new single, "Lady," featuring Donnell Davis.
