This week, we wonder: How do we know the truth?
The Apostle Paul had spent two years in Ephesus doing missionary work and growing the church there. Now he has left Timothy there to continue his work and he writes pastoral epistles to encourage him to keep preaching the truth no matter how false teachers twist and distort God's word. In our time, we can find someone who claims to be righteous supporting just about any opinion or position we can think of. How do we discern the light of God's truth from the sparkle of fool's gold?
