Sometimes, a mix can tell a very deep story… FLOOR⁴ has found for you a little spring tale coming straight from the nature of Switzerland.
Unfold from Lausanne has a very unique approach of the studio mixes: he first writes down a tale and then translates it into music. The guideline is therefore a story instead of the sound, creating an interesting atmosphere with surprising sequences.
For this 2h20 long mix experience a tale divided in 5 chapters, which can be summarized like this:
1. From start to 0:06:15: Birth of Mother Nature on Planet Earth.
2. From 0:06:15 to 1:02:54: Birth of Mankind: follow Mother Nature evolving from a painting to another around the population.
3. From 1:02:54 to 2:00:02: Mankind trying to control Mother Nature…
4. From 2:00:02 to 2:15:33: … which slowly brings Mankind to its death…
5. From 2:14:55 until the end: Epilogue (metamorphosis).
We hope you feel the story behind the music, otherwise simply enjoy a great set of the finest hypnotic techno with "Swiss precision" transitions (incl. tracks by Luigi Tozzi, Ness, Dino Sabatini, Claudio PRC, Donato Dozzy, Cio D'Or, Droneghost, Svarog).
The set is dedicated to the FLOOR⁴'s listeners and to Unfold's young son, who speaks in the epilogue.
