Description

On today’s show, we talk home and health tips after the flood with special guest Georgia Strong, a realtor with the Georgia Strong Realty Group and a current guest at the Hotze Health & Wellness Center who spoke at the Hurricane Harvey Flood Recovery Meeting. She’s had her real estate company for 13 years, lives a fast-paced life, but she saw markers along the way that she was feeling fatigued, distressed, etc. By 2014, she had incredibly high blood pressure and was taken to the emergency room, given cardiac medication and took more tests; Nothing came from the results. Her stress had intensified, coupled with the pressures of her career, Georgia realized she wasn’t making taking care of herself a priority. The doctors she saw couldn’t pinpoint a problem from their testing, so they only could put her on preventative medication. High blood pressure is not a diagnosis, it’s merely a symptom. While taking her blood pressure medicine, Georgia still felt ill. She was on the medication for five months and then finally had enough. She knew about Dr. Hotze for years and finally made an appointment in July 2015 and that’s when her life changed. Health problems like fatigue, mood swings, weight gain and more went away after she began a program that included a taking a natural thyroid. To learn more about Georgia Strong’s story on taking charge of her life and doing a 180, tune in to today’s show!
