Middle Tennessee experienced catastrophic flooding on August 21, 2021 with the City of Waverly being heavily impacted. Volunteers and relief workers have mobilized to meet needs in the aftermath of the devastation. Sadly, 20 people died due to flood waters that ravaged this community home to Loretta Lynn and gateway to the Tennessee River.
