Ruth Abigail Smith, Co-Founder and Executive Director of AngelStreet Memphis shares the ways they develop young women through musical training in areas in the city of Memphis with limited access to the arts. Terrian Bass Woods was one of AngelStreet’s first participants in 2013. Terrian is now touring with chart-topping Christian artist, TobyMac, as female vocalist for DiverseCity. AngelStreet is available to girls ages 8-18 from several schools in the North Memphis community. Auditions are held at the beginning of every fall semester.
