PJ Moore of World Relief Memphis is joined by fellow worker Basuze Madogo on this episode of Mid-South View Point. Basuze shares his life before fleeing his homeland of The Democratic Republic of the Congo, ravaged by war. Basuze and his family were forced to live in refugee tent camps where some people were bitten by snakes and eaten by lions. They faced daily hunger and without medical services, his cousin was among the first to be buried in the refugee cemetery. Basuze now serves at World Relief Memphis helping other refugees from around the world transition to our city that are facing similar threats. Mid-South View Point radio show airs Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 3:00 pm central time on the Bott Radio Network affiliate 640 AM and 100.7 FM in Memphis, TN.
