Two tornadoes, an EF-1 and an EF-2 did extensive damage in DeSoto County, MS recently, destroying some 600 homes in the area. Eight Days of Hope field director, Chris Chiles, shares details how they’re serving this community in the aftermath, the need for volunteers, and their rapid response to disaster across the U.S. since this organization was founded in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina.
