Connie James and Mike “Pastor Mike” Higgins from Heartland Hands Food Pantry share the amazing way they and they're volunteers are providing food assistance to residents of North Mississippi. Their administrative cost is less than 1/2 of 1% since they’re staffed exclusively by volunteers. They supply food to 30 different food pantries and 30 different agencies throughout Mississippi. Heartland Hands is one of the recipients for food donated to this year’s AM 640 / Super-Lo Foods Thanksgiving Food Drive.
