Denise Turner, Alana Magliolo, & Kallie Guinter from Generation SC discuss a special evening in remembrance of Kristallnacht, “Night of Broken Glass”. 81 years ago, November 10, 1938, Nazis in Germany torched synagogues, vandalized Jewish homes, schools and businesses and killed close to 100 Jews that instituted Kristallnacht. Generation SC is a group of students partnering with the Unknown Child Foundation to raise support for a local Holocaust Museum. Students have collected 1.5 million pennies to represent one penny for the each life of a child that was destroyed during the holocaust.
