Dr. James Whitmire and son Luke Whitmire; who portrays Jesus Christ in the Mid-America Passion Play, joins host Byron Tyler on this episode of Mid-South View Point. For nearly four decades, Dr. Whitmire has produced and directed the Memphis Passion Play, Jacksonville (Florida) Passion Play, and Uruguay Passion Play. Dr. Whitmire has also worked as Minister of Music under the late Dr. Adrian Rogers close to 40 years. Luke Whitmire is a Steadicam Operator at 20th Century Fox for Fox Sports. When not working in television Luke’s involved with filmmaking, theater, Photography, and modeling.
