Lakeisha Edwards of Mid-South Food Bank is joined by Pastor James Kirkwood of Memphis Christian Pastors Network to explain how churches are addressing food hunger in the community. Prior to Covid-19 outbreak, Mid-South Food Bank was providing 1.2 Million pounds of food every month to 31 area counties needing proper nutrition. They’re now providing 4.6 Million pounds since the pandemic started.
