Dr. Bartholomew Orr celebrates a mile marker of thirty years as the lead pastor at Brown Missionary Baptist Church this year. In 1882, the late Reverend Harry Body founded the Brown Missionary Baptist Church. Initially, they held their worship services in a Bush Harbor, near the existing church cemetery. Later they were able to erect a log cabin. For 137 years Brown has followed Christ command to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Dr. Orr reflects on these past 30 years of his ministry with Mid-South View Point host Byron Tyler.
