Lisa Griffin of the Griffin Media Management joins host Byron Tyler on this episode of Mid-South View Point. When the World Trade Towers were hit by the Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda on September 11, 2001, that was Lisa’s second day on the job as a writer in Washington DC at US News and World Report. Lisa says, “It was a true honor to be able to cover something of that magnitude that will affect us for the rest of our lives.” She also feels as journalists there’s a great responsibility when they observe and see something to record for history in a very accurate and professional way and with a lot of heart as well.
