This month, in the 4th episode of DE LA BONNE VIBE, we’re going to travel the globe again, exploring all genres… We start with a world tour of Contemporary Jazz with the immense Florian Pellissier, who this time brings his Biches to the Pacific. We’ll take a trip to Galata in Istanbul (hello Ahu!) before making a detour to Canada for the latest release from Pierre Chrétien’s Atlantis Jazz Ensemble, and finish in Italy with the ever-present Nicola Conte… Then it’s time for New Groove, with a mix of Henry Jenkins’ cinematic funk in Melbourne, the clever tropical/funk/samba blend of the third album from welshman Carwyn Ellis and the Brazilian collective Rio 18, and the electronic jazz of Neue Grafik, before paying tribute to the much-missed Ebo Taylor… In the second part of the show, after a visit to la isla bonita of The Illusions, we’ll hang out in France with the new tracks from David Walters, Ireke, the most French of… Brazilians Diogo Strausz and a broken beat gem from Perpignan’s Soul Traumer. We’ll gently conquer the slopes with Tigerbalm, Waan, and Izco, before finishing with the ever-energetic Brian Jackson featuring on Mamas Gun… Enjoy!
