Once again, Ana Fernandes brings another top guest to her show Fade To Sunset. This week we are excited to have on our radio Detroit legend Marcellus “Malik” Pittman.
Born and bred in the famous Motor City, Pittman started his DJ pursuits in the early 90’s, and went on to release his music on Sound Signature, Theo Parrish’s mythical label. He also forged a working relationship with Parrish, Rick Wilhite and Moodymann, also known as the 3 Chairs. As producers and selectors they have helped define an Integral part of the Detroit Sound. Having played in many of the best parties in Detroit and all over the globe, his dedication to production ushered the discontinuation of his latest residency with Northern Lights in Detroit. Malik is currently heading his own label, Unirhythm, where he will be releasing his upcoming projects.
