After over a decade as a house music lover and supporter of the local scene, Beaubien was born in 2012, when Lila Bujold started mixing soulful and deep house music.
Born and raised in Vancouver, BC this Westcoast Canadian found a deep affection and love for East Coast House Music. Soulful vocals, happy keys and rich bass lines bring depth and warmth to her mixes.
Beaubien has held a residency at The Distillery Bar in Vancouver, BC for the last 4 years, where she plays a mix of jazz, rat pack, bebop and jazzy house. She also created a mix series called Carte Blanche Radio that aired on SpinzFM.com but now prefers to do guest mixes and has done mixes for House Salad, Pockethouse, and House Jet Radio.
She is also the creator of DJ Life Stickers for iPhone, a series of animated DJ and House music stickers to share the love of house.
