Born in the bay area San Jose C.A, He is well known for his jazzy, & jackin sound.
Ray-D got his start in producing back in 2003. After a few years, Ray-D set producing aside to focus on remixing for numerous record pools throughout the United States, also holding a residency as an On Air mixer in the Central Coast of California (Monterey).
Ray-D has become in one of the nicest DJs of house/jackin house & downtempo music, standing out himself for his work on @robsoulrecordings and 2 whole albums on Robsoul Jazz (downtempo music), brother label of Robsoul.
