For today’s episode we are joined by Aaron Willits, head football coach at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. Prior to taking the head job at Knox, Coach Willits was the Offensive Coordinator at Concordia College in Minnesota. In his nine years with the Cobbers, the team had an overall record of 62 - 28 and a record of 48 - 24 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC). On top of his Offensive Coordinator role, Willits also served as Recruiting Coordinator, Strength and Conditioning Coach, and Equipment Manager for the Cobbers. Coach Willits is not only the new Head Football Coach at Knox College, but he is also an alumnus from the Class of 2008. During his playing career he earned All-Midwest Conference honors as a senior and was voted the team’s Most Valuable Offensive Player in 2007. Coach Willits graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in social science and secondary education.
