goodathleteproject.com
For today’s episode we are joined by Sportscaster Michelle McMahon. She's spent the past two years on NBC Sports Chicago as a member of the Chicago Blackhawks broadcast and with Big Ten Network covering college football, basketball, and volleyball. Personally, she's been navigating and openly sharing the ever-evolving journey of cultivating true self-worth, self-acceptance, and self-confidence outside of external validators. Michelle played volleyball at the University of Michigan where she first dove into the world of mental health with longtime administrator/counselor/mentor, Greg Harden, who helped develop the strong psyche of elite athletes such as Tom Brady and Desmond Howard. Michelle hopes to continue to spread mental health awareness, promote self-worth in a world full of comparisons, and continue to expand in her reach through sharing empowering content and speaking out on vulnerable, important issues.
