All sounds from Novation Peak. A couple presets, and some of my own stuff. Sequences done using on-board arpeggiator on the Peak, clocked from Studio One. Multi-tracked, of course.
Very slight EQ and limiter after the fact, using Ozone. Otherwise, no external effects. Some distortion was intended, some was not.
In case folks are interested:
- Intro feedback pads are modified preset. Love this patch.
- Bells starting around 1:04 are preset. I recorded it twice and use those clips throughout
- Supersaw drone/pad starting around 0:53 is from scratch
- Robot noises at around 1:20 are preset
- Berlin bass is a simple 3 osc patch I made, 8 voice unison (sounds about the same at 4 or even 2 voice because I didn't use a lot of spread)
- Secondary bass around 2:21 is modified preset
- Drums starting at 2:29 are modified percussion preset combined with modified bell preset. Like the bells, I recorded this once and then duplicated it on the grid.
- High sequence starting at 2:54 is a variation on that Berlin Bass patch
- Pad you hear starting around 3:30 is modified preset
- Closing high sound that comes in around 3:54 is preset
Distortion came in from four places
- Intentional distortion effect use
- Filter overdrive
- Adding noise to patch (just sounds like distortion)
- High resonance (mostly unintentional)
My audio interface was never overdriven.
