Description

It rained cats, buckets and just about everything else in Round 13 as the Parramatta Eels and Cronulla Sharks waged aquatic war at Kogarah. Eventually the Eels emerged, or perhaps submerged, as the alpha underwater lifeform with a 14-12 victory that keeps the intense race for the minor premiership in a three-way shootout.

The two Browns, Dylan and Nathan, starred for the Eels and Sixties and Forty20 dive into how they made the decisive difference on Sunday. The boys take a focus to the back-to-basics approach deployed by the team in the hard-fought victory and why this might finally represent the 'get right' game that fans have been waiting for.

Parramatta's ability to consistently finish stronger than their opponents is no accident so in this week's training report, Sixties shines the spotlight on the terrific work done by Trent Elkin to keep the squad in top condition despite the challenges of COVID-19.

Finally the boys cast their eyes ahead to the Round 14 fixture against the St George Illawarra Dragons. With the Eels expecting Ryan Matterson to make his return from concussion protocol the question gets asked - who misses out to make way for him?
