The third time is a charm and this week we finish our 3rd year of medical school series with Nisarg Bakshi. In this episode Nisarg discusses some of the patients that have impacted him personally as he works toward integrating his vast medical knowledge with actually caring for human beings. It’s a process and one that is not for the weak of heart. Nisarg wants to be a pediatric subspecialist so we are curious how that turns out.
When we end this series we will be looking forward to hearing from Nisarg when he hits 4th year. The plan is to interview him after he matches and get some general reflections of life as a medical student overall and what it means to transition into actually being a physician with a degree. We plan on focuses on the enthusiasm he has for matching with his first choice or the challenges he faces dealing with choice number 2. But we know that won’t happen so you’ll just have to imagine what that would be like.
We hope you enjoy the episode and please pass along any good comments you might have for us. If you have bad comments, re-read them, remember we have sensitive feelings and then send them.
