We recently encountered comments that questioned our process and academic integrity so we though we would sit down as the principled producers of Rotations and explain what our podcast is about.
In this episode you will hear from Brian Plow as a trained documentarian, Lisa Forster as a professional journalist, Todd Fredricks on concepts of intellectual integrity and avoiding intellectual fascism and of course Nisarg Bakshi on how being the first host of Rotations caused him to examine himself as an objective partaker of opinions that at times have differed from his beliefs.
We think it’s a great overview of the evolution of the process and it is now part of what we call the Trigger Warning Series. The Trigger Warning Series will hold anything that we think might cause someone to seethe with anger, frustration or overt worry about the world falling apart because we interview someone with whom they disagree. By containing it under Trigger Warnings a listener has the clear option of avoiding offense. We even recorded new intros to help out in raising awareness.
We again encourage people with disagreements with our guests to leave us comments and references to individuals that they think will stimulate thought and ideas.
This show was produced and hosted by Todd Fredricks, engineered by Kyle P. Snyder and edited by Brian Plow.
