Valentyn Artemenko, otherwise known as Pageant, is a producer from Ukraine who is now based in Israel. Drum and bass has been a very important part of his life, however just listening was never enough so the only natural progression was to begin making music himself using creative influence from producers such as Seba, Calibre,dBridge and fellow countryman Sunchase.
Fresh from his track 'Alone' on the inimitable Offworld Transmissions Volume 7, and eps from Omni music - Pageant steps up to Offworld for his debut ep on the label with an excellent contemporary drum and bass ep.
Pageant embodies the ethos of the Offworld sound dripping with atmospheres and melodies such as the driving 'Trace', the vocal led sublime 'Time', the positively psychedelic 'Trip in the future' , and closing out with the uplifting stepper 'New Life'.
