The Decision Making in Government and Public Service: Book Club & Online Discussion introduces decision making in government and public service. Our books and discussions we will cover several approaches to decision making at both the individual and the organizational level. We will explore the current empirical science of the mind, behavioral economics, intelligence, and administrative decision making. Each week there will be readings and questions posted in online discussion boards. Eight lectures on these topics will be provided by the host. Additionally, a weekly live conversation will be hosted for those who want to discuss the books together in video format.
My only request for registration is that you provide your name, a TAMU or GMAIL email account, and make a minimum online donation of $25 to the Bush School of Former Student Scholarship Program. This program provides scholarship(s) funds to a current Bush School student. When you do donate, please put “Book Club” in the additional comments. I’m hoping to raise $1,000.
