Fealty. What is it? Faithfulness, loyalty, devotion and duty. Like Abraham, all of us who call ourselves Christians made an oath that God has our fealty. But, is our fealty legit? For John Wick, the elder wanted him to prove it, “I want to see, show me.” Does God have your fealty? Then God wants you to prove it to Him, He demands you to cut your finger. No just kidding, I’m very sure that God does not demand us to cut one of our limbs to prove our faithfulness and loyalty to Him. Yet, there is a call for all of us to authenticate our fealty to God in other ways, meaning, is there evidence that the Holy Spirit is truly in you, working and moulding you to be more like Jesus? The Holy Spirit is the ONLY person who can enable us to remain faithful to God so the question is, is He in You? Now, It’s not like God doesn’t know whether our fealty is legit or not, it’s more for us to know for ourselves. Jonathan continues his Genesis series with chapters 22 and 23. Enjoy!
