Do we sometimes project ourselves onto others and are severely disappointed when those who we project ourselves to, do not meet our expectations? "Why do you do that?" "How on earth did you think it was the right thing to do?" "Why didn't you see it coming?" Phrases like these are evidence that we're project ourselves onto others because they don't behave the same way as we do.
