Many times we think the story of Noah's Ark was about God's wrath on humanity. Jonathan begs to differ. In this episode, Jonathan argues that Noah's Ark was a story was the author's intent to contrast existing Ancient Near East flood stories that he knew about. After experiencing his God's love for him and his fellow Israelites, how can THIS God do what those gods did in those flood stories? Not possible. Enjoy!
