So what topped the news this past week aside from shootings, rising Covid cases and further clarifications on the elusive vaccinations? PROTESTS against EXTINCTION! Yes, your children along with the wolves are going extinct due to our poor non-environmental friendly allegiances. The sun is shining, weather is warmer and we all know this is the season of protests. Here's an excerpt from CTV News article that raised my eyebrows:
Photos of Saturday's event show a several-metre-long boat placed in the intersection. It is painted pink, with the words "tell the truth" painted in black along the side. The words reference one of the group’s principal demands, which is for governments to convey the urgent need for change by telling “the truth” and “declaring a climate and ecological emergency.”
So what is the truth they want? What is the truth they want us to know and the government is hiding from us? And how should a Christian respond? I will embark on this lovely adventure this Wednesday on our next IMCO and share my Christian opinion. Enjoy!
