So what topped the news this past week? Well, two Vancouver restaurants decided to defy health orders of not having dine in patrons inside their restaurants. Over the weekend when health officials and a liquor license representative went into one of the restaurants, patrons bullied and harassed them and chanted “Get Out.” The restaurant owner, when interviewed by CTV News, had this to say:

“"I feel that as a mature person, you can make your own decision," he said of his clientele. "They’re free to come and dine. If they feel safe to come at dine at my place, they can. If not, no one’s forcing them."” (from https://bc.ctvnews.ca/vancouver-suspends-licences-of-2-restaurants-that-defied-b-c-s-public-health-orders-1.5375253)

Interesting that he used the word “mature” and made the correlation with the freedom to do what one believes is good for themselves. Is that maturity? What is maturity in a Christian sense? In today’s IMCO, Jonathan explores the restaurant owner’s take on maturity and offer his Christian opinion on the whole definition of maturity LIVE Wednesday at Noon.
