United, then untied… and severed; and so it too often seems to go with relationships and friendships. The closest entities can become the most distant; it is a sad part of nature. It usually takes a series of incidents and feelings to slowly, over time dissolve a once thriving relationship. And yet in seemingly an instant it can and does happen.
However or wherever or with whom… when it happens there is a cloud of emotions and memories of struggle and often even relief.
Remembering those emotions; those that led up to and those that follow the ‘severing’ by both the ‘severing’ and the ‘severed’.
