Description

This is the story of Bonavanture Kageruka, born in 1975 near Kigali, in Rwanda, and survived the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. This was a devastating genocide, where Hutu extremists targeted and attempted to destroy all Tutsi in Rwanda. In a period of 100 days, from April to July 1994, approximately 800 000 people, most of whom were Tutsi, were murdered. Bonavanture was Tutsi and survived the genocide. This is his story of strength, resilience and survival.
