This is the story of Josephine (Fifi, born in 1984, in Rwanda, and survived the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. This was a devastating genocide, where Hutu extremists targeted and attempted to destroy all Tutsi in Rwanda. In a period of 100 days, from April to July 1994, approximately 800 000 people, most of whom were Tutsi, were murdered. Josephine was Tutsi and survived the genocide. This is her story.
