“This hymn writer says I know that Jesus loves me and I know it simply because the Bible tells me so. In other words, this hymn writer, Anna Warner, says I accept this truth SIMPLY because the Bible tells me so. How about you? Would you accept what the Lord has said about you as true and unchanging simply because the Bible tells you so?
Jesus loves me, this I know,
For the Bible tells me so;
Little ones to Him belong;
They are weak, but He is strong.

Jesus loves me, He Who died
Heaven's gate to open wide;
He will wash away my sin,
Let His little child come in.
Verse 3
Jesus loves me, loves me still,
Though I'm very weak and ill;
From His shining throne on high
He will watch me where I lie.

Jesus loves me, He will stay
Close beside me all the way;
Then His little child will take
Up to Heaven, for His dear sake.
