But, when you kneel before God in prayer and when you eventually stand before God in judgement, you have nothing to put in your own side of the scale. Because we all are beggars. Before God, whether in prayer or in judgement, beggars, all of us. The scale is weighed against us and we have NOTHING to make up for the glaring deficit of merits. But…listen to this: the moment a Christian realises that he has nothing is the very moment he/she gains EVERYTHING.
