In the summer of 2014 while sitting in a grassy field and guitar in hand I noticed a striped Beetle motionless in the grass. I touched it but it appeared lifeless. I began to play a song for this little beetle in hopes that music would support its transition into death. I wrote this song for it and called it "June Beetle".
