Columbia University alumna Ann Hagedorn has worked as an educator, written for the Wall Street Journal, and has penned a wealth of narrative nonfiction. She wrote BEYOND THE RIVER, a documentation of the Underground Railroad in Ripley, Ohio, where she currently lives.
