Inspired by a Facebook post by my friend Stephan Goldmann on the 106th anniversary of the invention of the kick drum.
So I decided to make a track with the only sound source being a single kick sample. Every single sound you hear comes from that kick. It's achieved through loads of effects and creative routing of audio (sound splitters, parallel channels) and lots of automation. There are no other sounds at all, no synths, no hats, no samples, nothing recorded.
Uploading for free as this is more of a fun gimmick and not a complete polished track.
