Flora Gordon is an Art Director with a passion for visually expressing complex ideas. She has designed everything from magazines to museum exhibits. As a professionally certified member of the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada and holding a degree in Communication Design from Emily Carr University. Flora developed a plain language graphic design curriculum for Simon Fraser University that focuses on clear communication and readability through layout and typography.
Her obsession with advertising started in childhood, when Her father would point out clever ads to me. She buys more typefaces than shoes and her sketchbook is always within reach. Re-occurring themes in her work process include serendipity, intuition and magic.
